MUPP 377 Jazz Improvisation II

This course is a continuation of MUPP 376 and furthers the development of improvisational skills for instrumentalists. Through listening, transcribing, scale and pattern practice, and readings in jazz theory and jazz performance practice, students will explore the creation of improvised melodies in a jazz setting.
