BIO 364 Pharmacology
This course is a comprehensive introduction into the ways in which drugs move through and interact with our bodies in order to exert their intended effect. Interdisciplinary in nature, the course is designed to promote an understanding of how the chemical nature of the drug contributes to its ability to gain access to the targeted cell(s); elucidation of both general and specific cellular response patterns to drugs provide insight into common cellular signaling mechanisms that promote a change in the physiology of the organism.
