Aviation Studies Concentration (B.B.A.)

The Aviation Studies concentration provides credit for FAA certified flight training as a part of the Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree. It is designed to provide a pathway for licensed pilots to obtain a bachelor’s degree with fewer total classes needed due to the credit counted for their certified aviation studies coursework.
A maximum of 15 credit hours may be counted towards supporting electives from certified FAA flight training coursework. This coursework may be qualified to count as prior learning credits. 15 hours.

General Business Administration Major
ShenEd General Education Requirement
Students must conform to the general education requirements of the university that specify coursework over seven domains of knowledge. The following general education courses will be taken by all business students and will fulfill 15 of the required 30 hours of coursework. Students should work closely with the School of Business Student Success Center to ensure they complete the general education requirements in a timely fashion.
BBA Supporting Electives
The BBA Supporting Elective Courses consist of Business Administration (BA), Economics (EC), Esports (ESPT), Information Systems & Technologies (IST) and/or Sport Management (SM) courses at the 300 or 400 level. A minimum of 15 of these credits hours must be at the 300 or 400 level. No more than 6 of these credit hours are at the 100 or 200 level in total.

Free Elective Courses
Free Elective Courses may include BBA Supporting Elective Courses and Non-Business Elective Courses, but may not include any BBA Supporting Elective Courses at the 100 or 200 level.
Supporting Electives for Aviation Concentration
Supporting electives come from certified FAA flight training coursework that is qualified to count as prior learning credits. (Up to 15 credit hours).
