The Coaching Certificate is recommended for students interested in coaching interscholastic or intercollegiate athletics at a higher level than a Coaching Minor qualifies them to do. BED HPE PreK-12 majors who follow the semester sequence listed above will complete most of the requirements for the Coaching Certificate in their major, as indicated above. However, an HPE major is not required for this certificate.
