Virtual Reality Design (B.S.)

The B.S. in Virtual Reality Design will prepare students for careers working as technical specialists and/or programmers in AR/VR/XR or related fields. In addition to the required concentration courses, students complete a set of foundation courses, two lab courses, elective courses, and a two-semester capstone sequence in which they complete a real project working with a client or as part of an internship.

Recommended Minors: Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Game Design and Development

Students must successfully complete the following 5 courses (15 credits):

Elective Courses


Students must successfully complete 9 credits in elective courses. Those can be selected from the list below, or from the B.A. in Virtual Reality Design program concentration courses in consultation with their advisor.

Capstone Project


Students must successfully complete the following 2 capstone design courses (6 credits):
