AVS 311 Animal Nutrition

This course focuses on the classification and function of nutrients, deficiency symptoms, digestive processes, characterization of feed, and formulation of diets for vertebrate animals, such as fish, birds, reptiles and mammals (including humans). This information will allow informed decisions to be made when dealing with nutrition and overall physiological health and general welfare of animals. Credit(s): 3
