MUTH 105 Introduction to Music Therapy

In this course, students develop a comprehensive understanding of music therapy as a profession (past, present and future), including definitions and scope of practice, education and clinical training, approaches and methods and governing associations. Students engage in reflexive practices throughout the course, specifically to develop cultural competence. Credit(s): 3
