ASL 202 Intermediate American Sign Language II
This course is for students who have demonstrated competency in American Sign Language (ASL) through the third semester of university instruction. Students will continue to develop vocabulary, conversational competence and grammatical knowledge through the study of cultural and literary texts within a total immersion approach. Increasingly complex grammatical aspects including those unique to ASL will be studied and applied. Contact with the deaf community is encouraged to enhance linguistic and cultural knowledge.
