The Clinical Mental Health Counseling program prepares students to practice counseling competently. Coursework introduces ethical and legal foundations of counseling and diverse content to work with varied clientele and diagnoses. Students develop their theoretical orientation through coursework, practicum and internships. The program includes core classes and clinical classes to provide students the knowledge and skills to deliver individual and group counseling services grounded in evidence-based practices.
