The Minor in Game Design and Development complements knowledge acquired by students in their majors with a technical multidisciplinary understanding of game design and programming concepts. Students gain a fundamental awareness of core building blocks of games, theories of game design, principles of computer graphics and three-dimensional modeling and best practices for design and programming of game-oriented experiences using game and physics engines.
