The Master of Music in Pedagogy - Voice curriculum prepares post-baccalaureate students for meaningful and satisfying careers as private voice teachers. The curriculum encompasses contemporary and classical functional training for the singing voice. Interdisciplinary courses targeting pedagogy, anatomy, technology, career skills and applied voice lessons provide the education required to succeed professionally as a voice pedagogue.
Program Outcomes
Students completing the Master of Music in Pedagogy degree will be able to:
Admission to the Master of Music in Pedagogy with a Keyboard or Instrumental focus has been temporarily suspended. The program has not been terminated but no applications are being accepted at this time.
Degree Requirements
The degree requirement is 33 credit hours and an overall grade point average of 3.0.
