The Bachelor of Arts in Recording and Audio Arts curriculum is designed for students who are interested in a broad general education while continuing to pursue their passion for music recording and sound technology. Students identify an area of emphasis which may include music recording, sound reinforcement, songwriting or other areas of individual interest.

Open Conservatory Electives may not include applied major lessons or additional MPRT coursework (beyond what is required above). Electives may include applied minor lessons (with audition) and any other music, theatre, dance or PALM courses where prerequisites have been met.
