HS 501 Healthcare SystemsThis course is designed to examine the U.S. health delivery system, with a focus on the current and potential future health service systems and their components. In addition, additional topics include: common leadership and management models/theories, communication styles, use of technologies and documentation in healthcare, developing electronic health records and the impact of culture on the components of the system and on healthcare provider and patient interactions will be discussed. 3 NO Credit(s): 3
