PHAR 753 Critical Care PharmacotherapyThis course examines critical care pharmacotherapy through the exploration of common conditions such as acid/base abnormalities, mechanical ventilation, pain/agitation/delirium, shock and sepsis, that are commonly encountered in medical, surgical and specialty intensive care units. Measures for advanced life support, such as code and trauma response are also taught as duties of a critical care pharmacist. This course will prepare student pharmacists for acute care APPE rotations. NO Credit(s): 3
