PSY 301 Psychology of Language
This course focuses on how humans acquire, use and comprehend different forms of language, such as spoken, written and signed under different communicative circumstances. It draws from research in the fields of psychology, speech and language pathology, cognitive science and linguistics to examine how the mind and brain impact our perception, understanding and interaction with others.
