PH 515 Principles of EpidemiologyThe course provides students with an introduction
to the basic concepts and principles of
epidemiology and how these concepts are applied
to multiple domains in public health. The focus
is on the analysis and application of
epidemiology to better understand, characterize
and promote health at a population level.
Students also learn how to identify sources of
data and how to evaluate published epidemiologic
