PALM 509 Foundations of Arts Management

This course is designed to give students an overview of the nonprofit performing arts industry from a management perspective. Specific topics covered include arts and culture in community, strategic planning, governance and board development, fundraising and marketing, financial and personnel management, program development and arts education, volunteerism and cultural access, and program evaluation.
