PMHL 692 Elective Practicum in Psychiatric Mental-Health Nursing

This course allows the student to apply knowledge, skills, values, meanings and experiences to positively influence the lived experience of a population of their choice with common psychiatric mental health conditions. Individual, family and group psychiatric therapies will be applied across the lifespan in populations such as geriatric, adolescent and child, or persons with substance abuse problems in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
