ANTH 301 Human Ecology
This course is designed to introduce students to the field of ecological anthropology and to help them gain an understanding of the complex and often competing relationships between social systems and ecosystems. Special emphasis is placed on human adaptation, the role of humans in the transformation of nature, threats from contemporary risks, and strategies of natural and cultural conservation including co-management of resources.
