The Biology minor is intended to provide students with a foundational knowledge in the biological sciences. Students may choose elective courses pertaining to specialized interests such as cell biology, microbiology and clinical laboratory sciences, biology teacher licensure or health-related professions.

The Biology minor is intended to provide students with a foundational knowledge in the biological sciences. Students may choose elective courses pertaining to specialized interests such as cell biology, microbiology and clinical laboratory sciences, biology teacher licensure or health-related professions. Electives
- At least 14 additional credits in the BIO prefix
- May include BIO 122 General Biology II (4 cr)
- At least one course (2-4 cr) must be at the 300- or 400-level
- May not include:
- BIO 111 Biology and Society
- BIO 131 Human Physiology
- BIO 201 Medical Terminology
