The Bachelor of Music in Performance curriculum is designed for the exceptionally talented performer seeking a career as a concert artist. Exacting standards are required for such a career and performance students should plan to continue study at the graduate level.
Program Outcomes
Students completing the Bachelor of Music in Performance will be able to:
- design, develop and complete collaborative projects appropriate to their discipline and career goals;
- perform diverse repertoire with advanced levels of musicianship in solo and ensemble settings;
- integrate knowledge of music theory, musical analysis and historical musical developments into the preparation and performance of repertoire; and
- demonstrate entrepreneurial and technological skills required for the 21st Century classical performer.
