The Sport Management concentration is designed to prepare individuals for careers in sport/athletic administration and management; including interscholastic, intercollegiate, professional sport organizations, professional and corporate fitness organizations, parks and recreation departments and non-for profit youth and sport entities. Sport management involves any combination of skills related to planning, organizing, directing, controlling, budgeting, leading, and evaluating within the context of an organization or department whose primary or service is related to sport or physical activity
