N 506 Data Analysis and Interpretation I

The intent of this applied statistics course is on the analysis and interpretation of health care research data and introduction to the use of SPSS. A critical introduction to the methods used to collect data: surveys, archival research, experiments and participant observation. Basic concepts of hypothesis testing, estimation, correlation, confidence intervals, t-tests, chi-square tests, simple linear regression and the one-way analysis of variance will also be included. Student must take N 512  before or concurrently with this course. Credit(s): 3
