CONS 250 Values and Ethics in the Performing Arts



This course presents students with the opportunity to examine ethical issues confronting performing arts professionals, such as financial compensation, use of artificial intelligence and ownership of artistic copyright. This course incorporates basic ethics principles to help explore and devise solutions on how to question and challenge long-standing financial entertainment/art structures, societal assumptions and perceptions about the arts, and other factors that hinder the value and support of both artists and the performing arts field.
