PH 270 Introduction to the US Healthcare System



This course provides a broad overview of the United States healthcare delivery system. Students will explore the organization, financing and delivery of healthcare in the United States. Students will learn about the public and private sectors of the healthcare system and examine the effects of market competition and government regulation. Students will also explore major issues currently faced by stakeholders in the nation’s healthcare delivery system. Credit(s): 3
