N 362 Complementary Therapies for Health



This course prepares the student with knowledge, values, skills and experiences to support care of themselves and the diverse needs of each patient. The knowledge and use of complementary therapies aid in the support of personal health, self-care, and resilience of both the nurse and patient. Emphasis is placed on alternative approaches to healthcare. The history and efficacy of complementary and alternative therapies will be examined and/or practiced throughout this course.
