SLP 436 Acquired Communication Disorders
This course provides students with methods of treatment for persons with acquired communication disorders including: aphasia, cognitive-communicative disorders, stuttering, voice, dysarthria, apraxia and dysphagia. Upon completion students will be able to provide treatment within the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) Scope of Practice guidelines including evidence-based treatment strategies for SLPAs.
