THDP 133 Introduction to Costumes and Makeup



This course provides theatre students with an introduction to costume and makeup design and technology skills for the stage. The first half of the term focuses on introductory hand and machine sewing skills, lessons on fabric, and how it is produced and utilized in costume design. The second half of the term focuses on safe makeup application processes, and the development and executions of makeup designs.  Credit(s): 3
