PHYS 305 Computational Physics



This course is an introduction to the use of computers in solving physics problems. Fundamental methods of computational problem solving are covered including topics such as finite difference methods, numerical quadrature and fast Fourier transforms. Through programming exercises, these methods will be applied to the study of a variety of physical systems. Credit(s): 3
