PHYS 321 Classical Mechanics



This course emphasizes the study of how things move. Building upon the student’s knowledge of Newtonian mechanics from introductory courses, we will introduce more advanced concepts such as the Lagrangian and Hamiltonian formulations, noninertial reference frames, rigid bodies and chaos theory. Credit(s): 3

Prerequisite(s): Physics 122, General Physics II
