THDP 301 Period Styles and Decor I



This course provides the student of theatre with a methodology for researching the visual elements of theatre. It consists of an historical survey of fashion, architecture, furniture and décor from antiquity to the 18th century, especially emphasizing periods of importance to theatrical style and production. The student is provided with an opportunity to develop skills in research and analysis methods as related to theatre production. Credit(s): 2
