In this course, students explore the evolution of AI as both a narrative subject and a storytelling tool. The course examines AI’s depiction in myths, literature and media, analyzing how these stories reflect societal hopes and fears. Students will critically evaluate AI narratives and explore AI-driven content creation tools like natural language processing and machine learning. Emphasizing ethical considerations, the course also covers AI’s impact on creativity, employment, and the environment.
