POLICY 4.12.8.1 - Purpose

Shenandoah University desires to foster the creation of original works created by its faculty, students, administrators, and staff. The Intellectual Property Policy is intended to promote and encourage excellence and innovation in scholarly research, creative activity and teaching by identifying and protecting the rights of the university, its faculty, staff, and students.
