POLICY 6.0 - Statement on Policies
Official Policies form part of the contractual relationship between Shenandoah University and its faculty. The official policies governing Shenandoah are published in the Staff Handbook and the Faculty Handbook. The Staff Handbook is distributed to all non-teaching personnel and the Faculty Handbook to all faculty. The duties and responsibilities of executive officers are described in the Staff Handbook.

The Office of Human Resources provides services and guidance to employees with the goal of enhancing their professional and personal development while continuing to support the workplace culture of the university. The staff of the Human Resources department offer assistance with benefits, compensation, job descriptions, performance evaluations, training, and employee relations.
