SLP 404 Phonetics
This course is an overview of the acoustical and physiological bases of speech production. The International Phonetic Alphabet will be introduced. In addition, this course includes a broad coverage of phonetic transcription, place and manner of articulation, air stream mechanism and speech perceptions for the purpose of clinical application.
