GEOL 450 Stream Assessment and Restoration



This course will examine freshwater streams using knowledge drawn from the fields of geomorphology, hydrology and ecology. Applied field exercises will require students to use survey and measurement techniques to assess stream systems. Discussions and case studies will be used to explore current issues in stream assessment and stream restoration.  Credit(s): 3

Prerequisite(s): BIO 122, GEO 101, or GEOL 201
