PGPM 503 Genomic Technology and Data ScienceGenomic technology and data science provides an overview of technology, bioinformatics techniques and statistics relevant to broad types of genetic and clinical data. Learners will be introduced to step-wise procedures involved in generating, processing, cleaning and analyzing genomic data. Other techniques relevant to pharmacogenomics and genomic data science will also be discussed, including gene expression and big-data analytics. The course will emphasize the roles of these topics in clinical research, drug development and advancing pharmacogenomics in clinical practice. NO Credit(s): 3
