INT 101 Introduction to IT Fundamentals



This course will give students a broad overview of the information technology (IT) field. This will include basics of hardware and software, information representation, storage, and transmission as well as human-computer interfaces. The history of computing and the role of information technology in modern society will be presented.  Students will be introduced to different IT career paths and basic engineering skills such as technical writing, teamwork and keeping an engineering notebook.
