N 200 Fundamentals of Nursing Practice
This course introduces the student to nursing as a profession and the roles of the nurse as provider of care, coordinator of care and member of the profession. Concepts related to provision of nursing care and health promotion are introduced. The clinical component provides the student the opportunity to learn basic skills in the campus learning lab and to provide direct nursing care to individuals in selected health care settings.
