LST 623 Policy and Ethics in Public Sector and Nonprofit OrganizationsThis course explores the policy context in which public sector and/or nonprofit institutions operate and the ethical dimensions of that context. Students examine the roles of federal, state and local governmental and nongovernmental stakeholders in formulating and implementing policy. The course provides an historical overview of the American governance system and targeted focus on contemporary issues influencing the policy process. Students explore ethical issues associated with policymaking and implementation. Credit(s): 3
