PT 886 Advanced Manual TherapyMobilization/manipulation has been defined in The Guide to Physical Therapist Practice as a manual therapy technique comprising a continuum of skilled passive movements to the joints and/or related soft tissue that are applied at various speeds and amplitudes, including a small-amplitude/high-velocity therapeutic movement. This course covers the history of manipulation in physical therapy, its legislation in therapy practice acts and the research on its effectiveness in physical therapy examination and intervention.
