MULT 520 Opera Literature

A brief history of opera through the examination of major works in historical contexts, as well as a survey of opera repertoire literature through in class performance and in and out of class listening. Students develop individual repertoire reference materials. Individual research resulting in a term paper, or the equivalent, is expected. Credit(s): 3
