MULT 528 Chamber Literature

This course is an introductory survey of the study of chamber music for strings and winds from the middle of the 18th century through the 21st century. Emphasis will be placed on stylistic evolution in chamber music as made manifest in representative compositions by major composers. Individual research resulting in a term paper, or the equivalent, is expected. Credit(s): 3
